This specimen is a very nice example of Templeton Reid's coinage. This coin is from the Clifford-Kagin Collection of Pioneer Gold. The obverse and are well centered with even wear. There are no detracting marks. It is currently shown in the inventory of Don Kagin. This coin represents the third finest known. It is one of approximately 6 known of this rare Territorial Gold Coin from the South.
